planning for spring

It seems funny to be getting ready for winter and spring at the same time, but that's what you do when you want to have garlic. This past weekend we cleared out a spot in our overgrown garden to plant some seed garlic. It was getting dark by the time we were done, but I still managed to snap a few pictures.

It's nice to think of something out there setting down roots and planning for warm weather while we make our way into winter.

Plant more garlic please! It really doesn't look like you put in enough. I mean...what happens if squirrels get to it before I do??

Excellent! There is nothing like homegrown garlic - the taste is fabulous. Next year, you will triple your crop! Deb is right - beware the stinky squirrel.
