Acoustic Sessions is a wonderfully eerie album. It's at once wistfully romantic, and intent on crafting slightly off-kilter tunes. The instrumentation reminds me of complex music box melodies with beautiful harmonies weaving throughout.
You can listen to the album on NPR right now. I think my favorite songs are Jardin du Luxembourg, Shroedinger's Cat and Song For James. Give it a listen!
P.S. I've been listening to so much good music over the past few weeks it was hard to decide which to feature today. Perhaps a new mix is in order?
