Given my love for period drama, it's hardly surprising that I've fallen hard for Downton Abbey. It's thrilling in ways only a British mini-series can be, full of secrets, intrigue, and upstairs/downstairs dynamics. And you can't forget about the beautiful props and settings! It makes me want to buy a silver tea set and start dressing like Mary Crawley.

Ah, I just recently discovered Downton Abbey myself! I blazed through the first season and now I can't wait for the next. It is just the best...and aggie Smith's uptight snobbishness makes me laugh every time. ;)
I can't wait either! And yes, Maggie Smith is pretty much brilliant in that role. :)
